Dry Eye Treatment

Do you have dry eyes and not sure why? Dry eye conditions are usually caused by a chronic lack of sufficient lubrication and/or moisture on the surface of your eye. The medical term for dry eyes is keratitis sicca, that generally means decreased quality or quantity of tears. Some of the common symptoms of dry eyes is scratchiness, persistent dryness, red eyes and a burning sensation.

Blepharitis

Do you have inflamed eyelids or concerned that you might have Blepharitis? Blepharitis is an eye condition that has inflamed eyelids. This also affects the part of the eyelid where the eyelashes grow and usually affects both eyes. This is a chronic condition that must be treated by a medical professional. This is a contagious condition and can cause permanent damage to a person’s eyesight.

Cataract

Do you believe you are suffering from cataracts? Cataracts can cause clouding of the lens of your eye that will affect your vision. Cataracts are related to aging but other types can exist.

Glaucoma

Are you suffering from glaucoma in your eyes and not aware? Glaucoma is a group of diseases that damage the eye’s optic nerve and can result in vision loss and blindness. The most important part of Glaucoma is early detection and treatment. Early detection can help protect your eyes against serious vision loss.

Pediatric Eye Disease

Uveitis

Do you have eye inflammation? If you have concerns that you might have inflamed eyes then you might have Uveitis. Uveitis affects the middle layer of tissue in the eye wall. Uveitis can affect a person suddenly and progress quickly. Uveitis can cause inflammation in one or both eyes. It may affect children but primarily it is found in people ages 20 to 50.
